My name is Hannah Ackerman. I am a lover of creativity and contribution. I have a passion for communication beyond words—the kind of communication that happens through what we see and what we feel.

More than anything, I believe that truly great visual communication is that which can not only withstand the scrutiny of the most critical viewer, but can go so far as to educate and inspire even if the words are in a language we don’t speak. When people see the designs I create, I want them to be asking deep questions, feeling a spark of curiosity and discovering new things.

I work a day job as a graphic designer, creating flyers, campaigns, exhibitions, and training students and associates. I give them design tools and knowledge so that they, too, can learn how to speak visually. Photography, painting, and writing projects provide my weekends with a variety of mediums for artistic expression.

In the end, I seek to help individuals, organizations, and everyone in between to harness the power of strong visual voice.
