My work throughout the thirteen weeks spent in Pacific Seafood’s Marketing Department at their corporate headquarters in Portland, Oregon, was presented to their executive leadership team on the morning of August 11, 2022. This internship was structured as a competition and I received recognition as top of my cohort; Pacific Seafood extended to me a full-time offer at the conclusion of the summer, but I chose to return to BYU to finish the last year of my undergraduate studies. I am so grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn with Pacific Seafood. Watch the presentation below to see an overview of my work.

Driven by purpose.

Pacific Seafood recognizes the ocean is an invaluable resource. It covers over 70% of the Earth’s surface and supports 94% of all life on the planet. I put together this video for their social media channels to celebrate World Oceans Day. We encouraged our audience to initiate and participate in community clean-up events.

Pacific Seafood is not only committed to providing the world’s people with the healthiest protein that you can get on your plate; they also work tirelessly to innovate new and more sustainable practices across every stage of production. Vertical integration of the company ensures that they can maintain best practices from dock to dish.

More than just an internship.

My summer projects with Pacific Seafood are an incredible opportunity to connect with the metropolitan communities of Portland, Oregon, gain experience in the seafood industry, work at a corporate level, and see new things every single day. Their tireless work to make seafood production not only healthy for people but also sustainable for the environment is one of the many reasons why I chose to be part of their team.
